Where's the sun

We've had beautiful weather for several days now with high's in the 80's and sunny with winds in the calm to slightly breezy range.....till today..yesterday was 86 and today 56. I never saw it higher than that..what a different it makes. It wasn't windy today but it was dreary..cloudy and gray...the up side is it's suspose to be better tomorrow and sunny and 80's again by Wednesday so we can handle a gray day here and there right...
We played cards on Saturday with some friends. We had a great time and made plans to get together later in the month to do it again. We also decided to go to the RV net get together later in the month with them so that will be fun.
I started walk aerobics at the rec center this morning. I've never tried that before but I want to give it a shot. It was fun and I'll have some muscles tomorrow that aren't going to want to work. We're meeting 3 times a week and there was a good turn out for the first day. I had to rush home and get my shower and get back to the office by 10 for my volunteering. I also had to set the alarm clock to get there on time...it starts at 8:15 but I want to do it so I'll get myself up in time to go...I need to go to bed earlier at night to make those early days. The office was busy, it always is on Mondays but I see lots of people that have a simular hobby as mine....talking....what a way to spend a couple of hours..
Reid was hungry when I got back and was wanting shrimp and fries and we have two places that we like so we decided to go to the Riverside cafe..on the way over I start thinking that it was closed on Mondays. On the way over we decided to see if Larry and Phyllis arrived and sure enough they we in and still sitting up. So we asked if they wanted to go to lunch and they did so we head to Riverside...yes it's closed...that's ok there's always Eric's right...so we get to Eric's and it's looking empty. the Lady that owns (owned) it was outside washing windows and she told us they'd sold the business and the new owners would be opening it later in the week. We really loved their shrimp baskets so we're going to check it out in a week or so and see if the food is still good. We're glad the owners were able to sell it..they had planned to keep it open during the winter texas season and close it if they couldn't sell so that's good for them. By now it's almost 1:30 and we're still hungry so we head to Granny's and had a late lunch early supper. We each had something different and it was all good. Reid had a bean and ham soup that was the best ever...he was raving about it so I had to sample it too and it was very good. We dropped on Phyllis and Larry and headed back home. The rest of the day was spent inside cause it was too cold outside...boy it hits the 50's and we hibernate..
