A week with Phyllis and Larry July 7th

We finished up our two weeks in waldenwoods with a cookout on Saturday night. Nancy and Bob grilled out and their son Jason was there with his two kids. Connor and Jillian. After supper we hosted the camp fire and fireworks show. Actually we used our lot for the fire cause we had more room and the park put on the fireworks we just sat aroung the campfire watching the show. Lady usually barks and has a fit when fireworks go off so I usually put her inside but once these started shooting off she was hooked. she would cock her head different directions looking at them and then she sat down and stayed there for the entire show. She would growl at them every once in a while. I think she thought they were getting a little too close to her. Some more friends of Jasons showed up with their three boys and we all stayed up (including Reid) till after midnight. Can you believe we had 5 kids over and Reid stayed up. They were all good and actually the kids konked out before the adults did. We spend Sunday getting stuff ready to pack up.
We left for our week out of WW on Monday morning. We headed north..Now we're already freezing so why go farther north you ask.. only one reason..to see friends. Phyllis and Larry live here and we said we were coming up. (we're rethinking that our trip here next year will probally be in Aug)We arrived about 2ish and while Reid was checking in I was watching some ladies go in and out of the office and one thing caught my attention...they were all wearing sweaters...not a good sign for July is it. I have put away my shorts for the week and pulled out my long pants and sweatshirts. Phyllis called right after we got set up so we went to visit with them for a while. We haven't seen them since late Feb. I think they are coming over tonight but not sure what we can do cause it too cold to sit outside.
We're staying at Thunder Bay RV park and it's very nice. It's a small park with only 23 sites and only about 7 people rv'ing right now. (Reid said that's because smart rv'ers are in the south right now staying warm) There's a golf course across the street from us (we're by the 3rd hole) Reid said it's too cold for him to golf today. They have an inn here and also a bar and grill. Looks like everything we would need for a weeks stay. The closest town was Hillman and it didn't appear to have a restaurant it was so small maybe there's more to it we didn't see. Oh the sun just popped out...but Reid said don't get use to it it's not going to stay long.
I guess that's all for now..I'll let everyone know if we break 60 anytime soon.
